Joost

Joost has had a bit of coverage recently, prompted by the firing of their CTO. Could Joost be on the way down? Although there was once a time when Joost invites were the hottest things to get your hands on, I’ve only ever opened it several times. Joost recreated TV with it channel flipping (and regular bad content) all to much. Although slick, the Joost interface has always been slow responding and really designed for use with a remote control, only the majority of users are using it on their laptop or desktop. How many people really have something plugged into their TV which could be running Joost? With the launch of Hulu, Joost’s content looks ever more aged.
